We invite you to visit our website and discover the history of a house over than eight centuries old.

First of all, allow me to introduce you to my history. I would like to begin with my birthday, but, since some data is unknown, I will have to pick my baptism as a starting point. Stories tell that, when I was very young, back on the VIIIth century, a group of people with pioneering views came from a remote place and settled around here. Although my occupants could have chosen to fight such people or run away from them, they preferred to agree with the newcomers, and I was baptized after that fact, since "Can Maholà", in the language of the visitors, Arabic, means “The respected One”.

In spite of my old age and my bad memory, the first person I can remember of is Bartomeu Maholà, who on the 13th February 1178 acquired custody over the lands surrounding me.
