This is a 1,125 meter high mountain. It can be reached by road or by walk (3 ½ hours to go up and 3 hours to descend).
At its feet, the Empordà plains, the lake of Banyoles and La Garrotxa to the southern part of Catalonia and the Vallespir and Rosselló provinces to the Northern Catalonia. With a clear sky, you will enjoy its impressive views, from the Canigó to the Serra dels Àngels and from the peaks over Vallter up to the Alberes mountains and the gulf of Roses. Some people say that territories belonging up to 7 dioceses can be seen.
- Balloon rides:
A good way to know our region and, specially, the volcanic zone of La Garrotxa, is through balloon rides. You will be able to spot the conical shapes and the lush craters.
- Walk along the Wall of Girona:
Retracing the steps of the defenders of the city, the visitors will be able to enjoy excellent urban views over the town of Girona.
